The GIS database contains many geographical variables grouped in 20 categories using the same structure that  the European INSPIRE initiative (Infrastructure for Spatial Information in Europe). http://inspire.jrc.it/

At a second level, each category will include an internal division of many environmental variables.

The user must select one category to search downloable data or cartographic services on  GISIMEDEA database belonging to this category.
