Seminar: Wind contribution to total EKE in the Mediterranean Sea
Esporles, July 16, 2018. When studied, EKE in the Mediterranean Sea is generally calculated from geostrophy.
In this work, we include other component and study the contribution each one has in the total budget depending on the region and on the time of the year.
For this, we study their variability in space and time thanks to spatial and temporal Self-Organizing Maps and to wavelets so that we can isolate and understand the pocessus behind thie variability.
