Ananda Pascual (Zaragoza, 1976) is a principal senior scientist of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC) at IMEDEA (Mallorca, Spain). She obtained her Ph.D. in Physical Oceanography in the University of the Balearic Islands (2003), following with positions at CLS Space Oceanography Division in Toulouse as Marie Skłodowska-Curie postdoctoral fellow, and at IMEDEA as a Ramon y Cajal tenure-track fellow. Her research focuses on physical oceanography, with special interest of meso- and submesoscale processes.
