Encuentro cientÃfico "Let's Go And Science A Beer!"
The Ocean Night CSIC's first event in Palma is organized by IMEDEA and is called LET'S GO AND SCIENCE A BEER!.
This informal meeting invites English students and people who want to practice this language to the Moltabarra bar, where they can have a relaxed chat with European science graduate students about the ocean and its role in improving planetary health.
The evening is presented as a game of scientific questions while enjoying the good atmosphere of beers and tapas in the bar, which every Tuesday continues with the classic tradition of beers and pintxos during Palma's Ruta Martiana.
When? On Tuesday, August 30 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where? At Moltabarra Tapas Bar. Del Peso de la Harina 12 Street, Palma.
How many? Admission is free, although if you sign up here the first beer is on us.
This activity, which has the support of PHYMOT, is part of the Ocean Night project with a strong focus on research related to the marine and coastal environment, in which five of the main research centers of the Higher Council for Scientific Research participate (CSIC): the Institut Mediterrani d'Estudis Avançats (IMEDEA), which leads it, the Institut de Ciències del Mar (ICM), the Centre d'Estudis Avançats de Blanes (CEAB), the Instituto de Investigaciones Marinas (IIM) and the Instituto de Ciencias Marinas de Andalucía (ICMAN).
